Pink Ruby

Italian orris butter, sultry damask rose, and intoxicating jasmine sambac are the stars of this fragrance. Together, they create a narcotic, opulent and plush heart with a subtle velvet-like quality. Raspberries add a hint of sweetness, and botanical musk from ambrette seeds impart an effortless sensuality.

Orris butter is a very special perfumery material we use in Pink Ruby. Ultra precious and rare, it is hand-harvested from the roots of the sweet iris flower, aged for three years, and then carefully distilled. It imparts lift and beautiful hints of violet into this scent.

Jasmine sambac, sexier and a little more wild than jasmine grandiflorum, takes center stage. It is a nocturnal flower - opening and releasing its scent during the night. Our Jasmine sambac absolute is produced by a small farm in India that is committed to sustainable floral farming.

Gaetana perfumes are made in-house from the finest natural perfumery materials - absolutes, distillations, extractions, and essential oils (collectively, "Parfum"). Our perfumes contain no synthetics, parabens or phthalates, and are cruelty-free.

The aroma molecules listed are naturally occurring in flowers. They are responsible for the aphrodisia of a tuberose; the sweetness of the tonka bean; the dewy beauty of a rose. While there are synthetic versions of these molecules, we do not use these.
