I've been fascinated by perfume for as long as I can remember. Growing up, my mother's perfume bottles shimmered like jewels on her vanity. She wore exquisite fragrances, and perfume was always the last step in her beauty ritual. After she wore perfume, I would notice a subtle transformation in how she carried herself.

When I told her I wanted to become a perfumer, she wasn't exactly thrilled. With her natural outlook on life, the idea of working with synthetic chemicals didn't sit comfortably with her. Yet she loved beautiful perfume. I found myself wondering why those two worlds had to remain separate.

That question eventually became the foundation of Gaetana. Through working with natural materials only, and choosing each one for the character it brings to the composition, I bring those two worlds together.

When you wear Gaetana, you wear a story told through flowers, and the beauty they hold becomes part of your own.

At Gaetana, we look far and wide for the finest, most beautiful natural ingredients. Our commitment to sustainability means that we also ensure that our ingredients are harvested through responsible farming methods. If a plant is endangered, we will not use it; we will not use the synthetic alternative, either. Each perfume is hand-blended in organic sugarcane alcohol bottled in-house at our studio at the foot of the North Shore mountains in British Columbia.
